Helping homeschooling kids become confident, capable, and creative thinkers.
A weekly online and in-person program where children learn to express themselves, trust their ideas, and build real-world skills that go beyond traditional learning.
At Kids Biz, children don’t just learn — they grow.
Through hands-on projects, collaboration, and guided experiences, kids develop:
✨ confidence in who they are
✨ emotional awareness and regulation
✨ the ability to think creatively and solve real problems
All within a safe, supportive space where they feel seen, heard, and capable.
Designed for curious, creative children who are ready to build confidence and thrive in a way that feels meaningful.
Designed for curious, creative children who are ready to build confidence and thrive in a way that feels meaningful.

You can see their potential… but something’s holding them back.
If your child feels unsure of themselves…
hesitates to share ideas…
or gets overwhelmed when things feel challenging…
It can be hard to know how to support them.
At Kids Biz, we help children become capable, curious, and confident — by giving them the space, support, and guidance to grow in a way that actually works for them.
Because kids don’t lack ability… they just haven’t had the right environment to build confidence, explore their strengths, and feel truly seen.
Your child might be:
Holding back ideas or afraid to get it wrong
Feeling overwhelmed in group settings or new challenges
Full of creativity but unsure how to express it
Ready for more independence… but needing the right support
Kids Biz gives children the space to grow, create, and step into who they’re capable of becoming.

Meet Mel — The Heart Behind Kids Biz
I believe learning should feel safe, supportive, and inspiring.
Kids Biz was created because I saw how many bright, creative children were feeling misunderstood in traditional learning environments — and how much they thrive when they’re truly seen, heard, and supported.
With a Master’s in Educational Leadership and over 20 years of teaching across primary schools, high schools, and universities, I’ve seen first-hand what actually helps children grow.
And it’s not pressure or rigid systems...it’s the right environment.
At Kids Biz, I bring together emotional regulation, creative thinking, and real-world learning to help children build confidence and trust in themselves.
Because when a child feels safe and capable… everything changes.
Each session — online or in person — is designed to give children space to explore ideas, solve problems, and express who they are.
While also learning how to manage big emotions and think creatively about the world around them.
This isn’t just about learning.
It’s about helping children become confident in who they are.
A journey your child grows through
Each part at Kids Biz builds on the last — guiding children through a journey of confidence, self-awareness, creativity, and connection. Over time, they don’t just learn skills… they grow into who they’re becoming.
Children begin by exploring who they are — building self-awareness, recognising their strengths, and learning how to navigate big emotions with confidence.
Children turn their interests into ideas — developing creativity, problem-solving, and the confidence to bring their thinking to life.
Children collaborate, communicate, and build real-world projects — strengthening teamwork, confidence, and their ability to express themselves.
Children explore how they can make an impact — building empathy, confidence, and a sense of belonging in the world around them.
What Parents Are Seeing in Their Children
Parents often share the same thing… their child is more confident, calmer, and starting to truly believe in themselves.

Give your child this kind of confidence and growth
Which of these feels like your child…
From feeling out of place → to being in a space where their ideas are celebrated.
From struggling socially → to confidently connecting, speaking, and belonging.
From doubting themselves → to recognising their strengths and feeling excited to learn
From overwhelmed and frustrated → to calm, capable, and in control
From “I don’t know where to start” → to bringing their ideas to life with confidence
From feeling misunderstood → to knowing they belong and their voice matters
If this feels like your child… trust that instinct.

Frequently asked questions:
How does the online program work?
KidsBiz Online is designed to be simple, supportive, and engaging for both children and parents.
Each week, your child:
Works through age-appropriate activities on our private online platform at their own pace
Attends a live 45-minute Zoom session with me and a small group of peers
The live sessions focus on emotional regulation, confidence-building, collaboration, and guided project work. Children are supported to share ideas, ask questions, and learn in a way that feels safe and encouraging.
Small group sizes ensure every child is seen, heard, and supported.
What if we can’t attend the weekly Zoom session?
We understand that families are busy and schedules don’t always align perfectly.
If your child misses a Zoom session, they can still engage with the weekly content and activities on the online platform. While live sessions are where connection and collaboration happen, missing an occasional session won’t put your child behind.
If attendance becomes a regular challenge, we can chat about whether the program is still the right fit for your family.
Will my child still feel connected and supported online?
Yes — connection and emotional safety are at the heart of KidsBiz Online.
Sessions are intentionally kept small so children can build relationships, feel comfortable sharing, and receive individual encouragement. I actively support shy, sensitive, or hesitant children to participate at their own pace — never forcing, always encouraging.
Many parents are surprised by how quickly children feel connected in the online space.
What kind of technology do we need?
All you need is:
A device with internet access (laptop or tablet preferred)
A webcam and microphone (if not already included in the laptop)
Access to Zoom
The online platform is simple to navigate and child-friendly. If you ever need support accessing materials, I’m always happy to help.
Is the online program suitable for children who attend school full-time?
Absolutely.
KidsBiz Online is designed as an enrichment program that complements school learning rather than adding pressure. Sessions focus on emotional regulation, confidence, creativity, and real-world skills — areas often missed in traditional classrooms.
Many school-aged children find KidsBiz refreshing because it’s interactive, supportive, and very different from school-based learning.
Can I attend just for one week?
KidsBiz is designed as a term-based program so children can build confidence, relationships, and skills over time.
For this reason, we don’t offer casual or one-off attendance. The real value of KidsBiz comes from consistency, trust, and progression throughout the term.
If you’re unsure whether it’s the right fit, I recommend starting with one term and seeing how your child responds.
What happens if we go away during the ten week block?
Life happens — and flexibility is important.
If your child misses a session due to travel or family commitments, they can still access weekly activities through the online platform. We simply encourage children to rejoin when they’re able and continue engaging at their own pace.
What is provided?
KidsBiz Online includes:
Weekly live Zoom sessions
Access to a private online learning platform
Guided activities and projects
Emotional regulation tools and confidence-building strategies
Ongoing encouragement and support
Everything is designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and easy to follow at home.
What if my child is shy, nervous, or finds new situations daunting?
KidsBiz is especially supportive for shy, sensitive, or hesitant children.
There is no pressure to perform, speak before they’re ready, or “be confident.” Children are gently supported to build trust, participate at their own pace, and celebrate small wins.
Many parents tell me their child feels calmer, more confident, and more willing to try new things after just a few sessions.
What qualifications and experience does Mel have?
I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and have over 20 years’ experience teaching across primary schools, high schools, and universities.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with children who learn differently, feel deeply, or struggle to thrive in traditional systems. KidsBiz was created to offer a space where children are supported, celebrated, and guided to grow in confidence and curiosity — exactly as they are.
